Southern Birch Company ships all packages through UPS or USPS. Please be aware that we will ship your order in the most cost effective way, regardless of the option you choose at checkout. If you need your order shipped with a specific carrier, please be sure to inform us of that at the time the order is placed. Tracking information will be added to your order once your package(s) have shipped. Once we have shipped your order, we are not responsible for transit times or damage to your package. All packages will be shipped with insurance. Damaged items are eligible for refunds; however, due to constantly increasing shipping costs, we will not replace damaged pieces unless you place another order. You must report and missing or damaged items within 7 days of your package being delivered.
We do not ship to P.O. Boxes. If you place an order with a P.O. Box as the shipping address, we will email you for an alternate shipping address. If you have not supplied an alternate address after seven (7) days, your order will be cancelled and refunded minus a 15% fee.
If you place multiple orders and we are able to combine the shipments, we will issue you a gift card for the difference in shipping costs. There will be no refunds given for shipping. There is no guarantee that orders can or will be combined, but we will do our best to combine when we notice multiple orders.
We offer both calculated and flat rate shipping options. Flat rate shipping is determined by the total of your order.

If your package is returned to us because of an incorrect address, your order will be refunded minus the original shipping cost and a 15% return fee.
If you select local pick-up at checkout and are not able to pickup at our location, you will be sent an invoice for shipping. If you have not paid the invoice for shipping after 72 hours, your order will be refunded minus a 25% inconvenience fee.
